1. Click on the start button, then choose "Device and Printers" in the start menu.



2. Find which printer is the correct one. In my case it is the Xerox_Admin printer. Your's may be different.



3. Once you locate the correct printer right click on it and select "Printing Preferences". 


4) A screen similar to the following should appear for you. Don't worry your's may look a little different but the overall process is the same. The locations of the settings/options and/or buttons just might be in a different location.


5) You may now change the option to "1-Sided Print".


6) Now under "Saved Settings" open the dropdown menu where it says "Driver Defaults" and choose "Save As..." from the dropdown menu. Name it something easy that you will remember what it means/is. For me, I saved it with the name "1 Sided". Once you do this, it will set your printer by default to always print one sided. Whenever you need to print double sided you can open the same dropdown menu in "Printing Preferences" and select "Driver Defaults" but remember to change it back to your customized "1 Sided" option when you no longer need/want to print 2-sided.
