HOW TO CHOOSE AN APPOINTMENT STATUS

In order to be consistent across all of our offices and to match national standards, we ask that you use the following guideline to status appointments in CareLogic:

DNS: If the client calls the business day before or the day of appointment then status as DNS.

CBT: If staff member cancels appointment for any reason then status as CBT.

CBC: If the client calls MORE than one business day before the day of the appointment then status as CBC.

Error: If appointment was created by mistake for any reason or because of an internal business reason.

EXAMPLES:

  • 1. An appointment is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Client calls at 8:30 a.m. on Monday.
Status = DNS.

  • 2. An appointment is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Monday is a business day. Client calls at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
Status = CBC

  • 3. An appointment is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Monday is a holiday. Client calls at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
Status = DNS

  • 4. Client was scheduled for a 15 minute psychiatric evaluation instead of 30 minutes.
Status = Error

  • 5. Counselor was assigned to a group but is no longer doing group work.
Status = Error
